1. Introduction :
First of all, thank you for visiting us, we hope this website will be usefull. Feel free to share and
use it!
2. What's this website for :
- Find which units, formations, detachments, forge world's rules,... are available for an army,
- Find where are the rules for a specific model,
- Help tournament's organization to check lists when all rules' sources are allowed,
- Be filled by the community to be always up-to-date
- ...
3. Use this website :
To use this website, choose a faction on the left. This will display all units available (only those known by
the website) for this faction.
Then you can use filters on the right depending on what you are aiming for (example, if you will play a
tournament that forbids fortifications, you can remove it from the list).
When a unit has a blue eye on his line, you can put your mouse over to have more information about this
unit.
You can clic on the end of the line to see all publications containing rules for this unit, you will also
find a link to go to the publication (when filled).
You also have the "search field" on the top of the page if you search a specific unit.
4. Help this website remaining up-to-date :
Keeping this website up-to-date is not a work designed for a unique human with codex actual release and we
need help for filling it!
First of all, please don't play with the "add a faction" and "add a unit" button just for test, we have to
clean up the Data Base after and it's wast of time.
If you want to help:
- Use only English Name : At the beginning we thought about being multi-language, but
with 7ed and all names being in English, we don't want to complicate things for a few number of items.
- Add a faction : You can add a faction by clicking on the "add faction" button under the
list of factions, then you just have to fill the name of the faction (as named by GW or FW) and the
faction owner (GW or FW).
- Add a unit : You can add a unit ( = unit, formation, detachment, artefact, apocalypse
formation,...) when a faction is chosen by clicking on the button “add_unit” on the top of the
page.
Please fill all fields but remember and keep in mind that you mustn't put rules in any
field.
Some specific field:
- Unit Type : "Sub-Faction Rules" is designed to receive information to find
"sub-faction rules", for example where to find Iyanden rules or Eldar Corsairs Rules as
sub-faction of the Eldar faction, Crimson Slaugther as Chaos Space Marines sub-faction or all
Space Marines dataslate as a Space Marines sub-faction. So don't create a faction for a
sub-faction.
- Requirements : requirements is designed to give a constraint to a unit, for
example a Daemon Prince from the Chaos Daemon Codex could be a heavy support, so add it as an HQ
and then as a HS and when you add it as a HS just give the information that you need a Great
Daemon with the same Chaos Mark in your army, or some unit in the codex Space Marines that
required a specific chapter.
- Comments (the blue eye) : To give all other information! In this field we
allowed composition, restriction and the name of specials rules for formation and detachment,
please use the following syntax:
Detachment (or "Formation" if you describe one) composition:
- 3 Troops
- 0-7
Elites
- 0-2 Fast Attacks
- 1 Heavy Supports
Restrictions: All units in this
Detachment must have the Harlequins Faction.
Command Benefits:
- Emissary of
Cegorach
- Rising Crescendo
5. Fan Codex :
You can now add fan codex. Please create a faction for existing faction in GW's fluff, else add your
codex in "Others" faction.
6. About :
We will improve "Where are my W40K Mini's Rules" step by step.
